For two years the young horse lover Monika Dahlhoff on the ranch of her uncle in America has spent. Now she returns home to the stud farm of her father Frederick, where she is from the old horse trainer Otto and the motherly housekeeper Gretel joyfully awaits. Are less encouraging, however, the news that Monika gets heard: Ever since he was the last time, "Hubertus hunt" for a dramatic riding accident blamed and is suspected of fraud, a serious dispute with between her father and his once good friend James Reinhard.
